　Pearls Before Swine 『Jewels were the Stars』（Amazon）。PBSがWarner/Repriseに残した4作（『Things Too』『The Use of Ashes』『City of Gold』『Beautiful Lies You Could Live In』）のボックスセット。アシッドフォークの名盤とされるESPの初期2作に比べて"虚ろさ"は後退しているが、しかしそのぶん、いずれの作品もTom Rappのソングライティングセンスがよりクリアに、よりヴィヴィッドに伝わる内容となっている。澱みない、流麗で端正なアレンジは楽曲との相性も良く、完成度も高く。個人的には、管楽器・弦楽器を優しく添えた4th『The Use of Ashes』（Amazon）がいちばんのお気に入り。
