Introduction
I went to Noumea and Ouvea Island in New Caledonia with my wife in 2004.
This travel was our honeymoon.
Ouvea Island is a stage of a famous Japanese novel and movie "The Island Closest to Heaven".

To tell the truth, I was not so interested in this island at first.
Though the kindness of the people, beautiful beaches and blue sky in Ouvea were really moved me.
Where is New Caledonia?
New Caledonia is in the South Pacific.
And it is French territory.
New Caledonia consists of a cigar-shaped mainland (Grande Terre), the Isle of Pines, the Loyalty Group and other small islands.
It has the second and third longest barrier reefs in the world.
